Played in Coach Davis's system at U Albany.  Young guy, graduated 2022.  Knows Davis's system, so that will help with the learning curve.  Also, seems to be pretty smart.  His degree is in Cyber Security.  I don't think we're going to see any Coordinator hires until after Convention.  Unless Coach Davis has an OC already in mind.

I see he was a WR coach last year at some school I had never heard of before, but yes should be beneficial that he knows his system.

New RB Coach has two years of coaching experience. TE Coach was an Offensive line GA at Ball State for a season. FBS graduate assistants don’t recruit off campus, so that’ll be new for someone with recruiting coordinator title. Now he’s coaching a position that appears he doesn’t have experience with. If I’m not mistaken, he would’ve been a graduate assistant for Jared Elliott (he now coaches at Ball State). Interesting.

Everyone starts somewhere, and for that reason, the Leatherneck faithful should be hopeful these young coaches will go to Macomb with energy and a background with Coach Davis that helps implement his system quickly.

There's a Brad Wilson that was added to the university directory as an "Assistant Football Coach": http://directory.wiu.edu/?display&alias=B-Wilson6

Unfortunately Brad Wilson isn't an entirely uncommon name.
I found a coach by that name who was OC at DII University of Indy: https://athletics.uindy.edu/sports/foot ... ilson/1814
There's also one who's the DC at Indiana State: https://gosycamores.com/sports/football ... wilson/985

Considering Indiana State is nearly as bad as we are lately, and Indy, even though they are DII, have a total of 4 losses in the last two years (2 of them in the playoffs)...I hope it's the one at UIndy, but we'll see.

Looks like our current coaches follow the UIndy one on Twitter.

Indy makes sense I wonder if he would coach oline along with OC as he has a lot of experience as an oline coach

I'm wondering if Davis will call plays or will let some one else do it, Wilson might be an OC in name only and Davis calls the play, then Willson coaches the O-Line.

I'm happy to see him added, looks like an O line first offensive coordinator. Something I will happily accept.

Especially with a HC who is big on the QB/passing game part of things. Having an OC who knows the O-Line game is a good balance.

Very interested to find out who our DC might be.

Football Scoop is reporting Wilson has been hired as OC and OL coach.
