The old saying is "measure twice, cut once".  Well, I am measuring 3 times with 3 different neural nets each trained with last year's OVC conference data.  Using the latest current year team stats (I dont put much faith in them because teams have played several considerably lesser and/or greater opponents thus far), here are the predictions.  The predictions should get better as the conference season progresses.

BRAIN.JS prediction:
  {
    Game: 'Matchup',
    team1: { id: 'Western Ill.', prediction: { B: 55.35 } },
    team2: { id: 'SIUE', prediction: { B: 54.73 } }
  }

TENSORFLOW prediction:
 {
    Game: 'Matchup',
    team1: { id: 'Western Ill.', prediction: { T: 54.31 } },
    team2: { id: 'SIUE', prediction: { T: 50.1 } }
  }

SYNAPTIC prediction:
  {
    Game: 'Matchup',
    team1: { id: 'Western Ill.', prediction: { S: 59.76 } },
    team2: { id: 'SIUE', prediction: { S: 70.29 } }
  }

SIUE is 8-6, 1-0 in the conference. They beat EIU in the conference opener, their last non-conference game was a loss to Bradley. They are undefeated at home so far this season, 6-0. The Cougars have only one freshman on their roster, but 8 juniors. The Cougars are coached by Brian Barone, who's father is Tony Barone who has coached at the NBA and NCAA level.

10 TO’s and under 50 from the line just the potential if we take care of the little things.

Nice road win for the first game in the OVC.

Cleaned up the turnovers a bit in the second half.

Nice victory to open up conference play. I’m optimistic for the rest of this season. Coach Boudreau appears to have his ducks in a row (looking at you Billy)

They announced during the broadcast that Joe Petrakis has left the team for an opportunity to play in Europe.

I believe they only played 8 guys tonight. Lamar who was starting earlier in the season, now doesn't play at all.
