Alvarez tallied 10 hits, two doubles, and two home runs, and scored four runs over the weekend.

Western will resume play this weekend in St. Charles, Missouri when the Leathernecks take on Green Bay and Bellarmine in a four-game tournament.

Morehead St is also 2-7 in the conference, so these should be some winnable games for them

Not looking good for Goler, unless she can get things turned around here, I think this has to be her last season.

I agree....also while yes we have 13 wins they have come from some other bad teams, not sure if any of them having a winning record.

Somehow she got named to the USA coaching team, but this is the quote that stood out to me:

"I'm shocked," said Goler of earning the role of coaching the two squads

A look at Coach Goler's seasons here:
2024: 13-21 (3-9 in conference) and in last place
2023: 9-36 (3-15 in conference) and finished in last place
2022: 8-37 (4-17 in conference) and finished in last place
2021: 16-29 (6-14 in conference) and finished in last place
Total: 46-133 (16-55 in conference)
