Basically nothing is official.

Kimahri Wilson is still listed in the student directory, hasn't tweeted anything and nothing on verbalcommits.  Did not play last year.

Ifiok Peter is still listed in the student directory, hasn't tweeted anything and nothing on verbalcommits. Did not play last year.

Makai Kvamme - Incoming Freshman PG - signed and still showing on VC and most recent tweets from March still WIU related.

Lucas Lorenzen - NAIA Transfer SG - Signed, picture and tweets about WIU and on VC.

Danny Stephens - Missouri Transfer G/F - We've seen the stories he's transferring in, but nothing confirmed showing he's signed.  Sounds like it's happening, but will feel better when it's official.

Isaiah Griffin - Idaho State Transfer F - Nothing showing he's signed and nothing on VC, but at least he has Bohnenkamp's story about him signing pinned on Twitter.

Good catch.  I thought there was one missing and couldn't recall.  Tyran Cook is all WIU on his X.

So does anyone agree with me that this portal might make 10 player rosters a new thing?  Realistically, most coaches only play 8 or 9 after conference season kicks in.  Why have 3 or 4 extras to drag along when they most likely wont be around after the year.  Tell a kid he will be one of the 10 just might be the difference in getting him on board.

It will be interesting what teams do, rosters are limited to 15 now and that includes walk-ons.

Is Thompson coming back, I believe he was a walk-on this past season. If he does come back they might put him on a scholarship.

I have been told Danny Strphens has been actively recruiting some of his former AAU Teammates to come join him at WIU especially the Pony Tail Kid from Metomora who has been playing at S. Alabama past two years.
