Their quickness caused us few extra TOs but Nicastro and Brownfield led the way to a 69-55 victory.
Still no McCowan.  I tuned in late so I might have missed an injury update on her.

McCowan wasn’t in uniform, but she didn’t have the sling or anything. Looked like she’s probably getting close to coming back unless there’s still lingering issues.

Nice thing is, we haven’t really needed her so far, so there’s no need to rush her comeback. We will need her for the conference tournament.

Btw, USI lost today, so we hold the #1 spot currently.

Mia Nacastro led the Western scoring with 27 points.  Addi Brownfield had 16.

Next game will be at Western Hall on Saturday (Jan 31) vs Tennessee-Martin.  Game time is 1:00 PM.
