SIU just played helter-skelter with Qbs on the move and destroyed us.

I hope they don't get a kickoff return, 'cause ESPN3 just ended the broadcast with 2 seconds left to play............

Not pretty but it is a W in the books. Way to hang tough when it counts!

Actually, I didn't think either team played their best today. I kind of expected more out of SIU after watching last week's game. Still, I'll gladly take the win.

Kind of game we really needed heading forward. This one is a character builder.

Blocked punt for a Saluki touchdown. I wanted to vomit.

Special teams has a LOT OF WORK TO DO.

A one point win counts the same in the standings as a 30 point win so I should be happy.

SIU is averaging 35.3 ppg and allowing 31.3 ppg yet they are 1-3.

That's a pretty formidable 1-3 football team. :(

Western had 528 total yards: 333 passing and 195 rushing.

Today's attendance was 7,125.

The attendance for last year's Homecoming game with North Dakota State was 5,111.

Here is the winning field goal by Nathan Knuffman as seen on ESPN3:
