It's beginning to look a lot like.......football

For reference, that road you can kinda see in the back is Wigwam Hollow Road, north of the river.

Calling for winds in 25-35 mph range with a gust up to 50. We might see a punter fail to strike the ball after his drop. I have seen it happen a time or two.
Embrace the pace of the race.

I'd believe it...that's about what we're getting right now, I'd guess. Probably end up seeing a few more "going for it" on 4th downs rather than attempting a punt or even a FG of anything over ~30-35 yards.

It's 30 degrees this morning in Macomb. And the temp will only go down in the afternoon. The skies are suppose to clear in the afternoon.

Most of the precip came in as rain. Only light snow in Macomb--covering the grassy areas. Sioux Falls got 18 inches of snow.

Winds will be from the NW at 25-35 mph. Wind gusts could exceed 50 mph.

The South Dakota at Illinois State game will be on Comcast Sports Net-Chicago at Noon.

Hearing the game will be delayed. SDSU delayed on the road. Anyone confirm? We just reached Macomb from Hannibal.

Says they will post a start time on twitter and goleathernecks.com. Didn't give the reason for the delay, just that the game was delayed; so don't know about the Jacks being stuck anywhere.
