Re: 2025 Week 3 - vs Valparaiso
Wasn't able to find the stats anywhere until today. They haven't been listed on the WIU site...but WOW was a big night on O. https://goleathernecks.com/sports/football/stats/2025/valparaiso/boxscore/14154
I didn't listen or follow much of the game as I was busy and just now seeing the box ...

Re: at Eastern Illinois
Yay! Can't wait to be a 16 seed. So happy to be in the lackluster OVC so we can make the tourney as a 16 seed. Can hardly control my enthusiasm.
Well he has Omaha as the 16 seed in a play In game but will ignore that
Omaha won't get in. The winner of the Summit League will not ...

Re: Head Coaching Search
Can someone tell me why several of you are enamored with an assistant wide receivers coach from the NFL? He's not even the wide receivers coach, but the assistant! I'm more interested in FCS/FBS coordinators or a solid D2 guy who has ran his own program!! Go Necks!!

Re: Candidates for New HC
We passed on Talton this time around. We did go hard after Danny Stephens and they were very disappointed he took a PWO with Mizzou, but that was all based on his girlfriend getting a full ride and going there. They still hope he may come back to WIU at some point. Boudreau is excited to fill out ...

Re: Candidates for New HC
Bubb wants this process completed in a week.  He will move quickly.  There’s quite a bit of interest, but I still believe Chad’s our guy.  More to come on assistant coaches.  Boudreau has a lot of contacts.  He may keep some.

Re: Candidates for New HC
Boudreau will not be going to Southern Utah with Jeter. He wants to be a head coach and he wants this job. He has bought property in McDonough County, he's from nearby in Iowa, his parents attend games regularly, along with old friends. If for some reason he does not get this job, he has a Power 5 ...

Re: 2022 Roster
Yes, Coach Jeter introduced Coach Al Hanson as their new Assistant Coach this past Monday at Sports Corner at the Downtown Athletic Club luncheon. Coach Jeter was excited to announce his hiring as he said he likes to have his former point guards that have played for him previously as assistants ...
