I saw someone on Twitter said this is a steal for WIU and he that he probably would have been a P4 recruit.
 

Iowa picked up a transfer from Knox College, she was the 2nd leading scorer in Division III, she would have been a good pickup for WIU, but I'm sure she is getting more money to go to Iowa than what WIU could have offered. 

WIU will play at Valparaiso on Monday Nov 2nd per a post on Twitter. Wiu is set receive $85000 for playing at Valpo.

Also WIU is set to play a home and home during the season with Houston Christian. Saturday Nov 7th they will play in Macomb, then Monday Nov 30th, they will play in Houston

they picked up a commitment from Abdoulaye Konate, a 6'5" guard from Florida SW Junior College. He averaged 12 pts and 6 rebounds a game this past season before getting expelled from school for a flooding incident that happened over the summer. He'll have 3yrs of eligibilty 
 
 

They announced today that they have signed Petey Tucker a WR from Colorado St.

John Bohnenkamp has a good article on JD that came out today. There were a couple of nuggets that were dropped in there. JD did have interest from schools after the season, he obviously turned them down. Katelyn Eggena got hurt (knee) in the North Carolina game and will be out for next season ...

McCowan announced that she is transferring to Houston. Kinda surprised about that, figured she would stay in the Midwest.
