Just wanted to give leatherneck fans on how men's soccer is structured in the OVC in the fall of 2024. There will be 8 teams with each school playing 10 conference games. There will be two "unofficial divisions" in the conference. Lindenwood, SIU-Edwardsville, Eastern Illinois and Souther...

Overall, looking at the whole spectrum of sports, OVC is the place to be for the Necks.  However, I will say that a few sports will be tougher to climb to the top in the OVC than in the Summit.  Baseball for one, maybe softball the other.  Take a look at the overal records for teams in both leagues ...

Necks get the opener against SEMO.  Kratz got some petty good giddy up on his heater to close it out.

The Tenn St pitcher tossed a no-hitter against us on Saturday in game 1 of the DH.  She had only 1 K and 1 BB and got it done in pronto fashion by throwing only 56 pitches in 7 complete innings.  That is what you call efficient on the mound.

SIU-Edwardsville won Friday's game 14-1.  The game was stopped after the 7th inning via the Ten Run Rule.     The 10 Run Rule is only enforced in the final game of a series apparently.  They went all 9 today and lost 16-3. Question:  Never been to Boyer to see a game.  Do they sell any concessions ...
