Re: The OVC, now and future
Missed it. But that's ok. A repeat can't hurt.

Re: The OVC, now and future
Actually, the OVC has a forum on CSNBBS. Link is https://www.csnbbs.com/forum-59.html Signing up is free and easy. Or you can just read posts. Others who have posted within the past year or two are from Southern Indiana, and a bunch from 2022 talking about OVC expansion, etc. But not many actual OVC...

Re: vs Lindenwood
The reason I started the thread "The OVC Now and Future" way up top of this forum is for exactly these kinds of discussions. No ... not tooting my own horn ... but making a point. As some have pointed out, this subject is not just for fans who hone in on FB, or MBB or WBB. And I think it d...

Re: vs Lindenwood
I forgot to mention SIUE, but I was thinking all-sports. Anyway, that's 16 conference bball games combined for MBB and WBB within "striking distance." And Murray State is an excellent example of possibilities. And I bet there'll be some better weather down that-a-way for baseball and softb...

Re: vs Lindenwood
Like the MVFC, the Summit got too full of Dakotas, where there isn't much else to excite the local populace even in bigger towns. Likewise, hard to get it up for competitions with Denver, Omaha and even UMKC. But with the OVC, WIU has Eastern Illinois, SEMO and Lindenwood within "striking dista...

Re: vs Omaha
Final 78-75 WIU. Now 8-1.
ESPN+ had "technical difficulties" throughout, so maybe a replay might work if they got anything.

Re: The OVC, now and future
Lindenwood is making huge cuts in its athletic programs. Re: Head Coaching Search
WIU/Macomb might seem like an island to some, but in the CFB World, it isn't. There are always a slew of aspiring wannabe HCs out there. Still, IMO, the coach search may take awhile considering what's been happening at the P4/5 level. HC coach changes so far (more coming?) at Syracuse, Michigan Stat...

Re: TSSR
Whoever is doing what, I had to watch LiveStats while watching ESPN+ because there was zero on-screen data ... like the score, time remaining, etc., that you usually see. That was in both MBB and WBB games. Who's responsible for putting that data up, like every other bball game in creation?

Pardon the interruption, but "OP" means the original poster who also named the thread. And having read one or two other OPs, I agree with bignecks.
