When I listened to their coach on the weekly OVC coaches interviews, it sounded like they were fighting the injury bug like we are. This might be our best shooting team in quite a while. In the past, we have had a bevy of good 3 point shooters but this group seems to also be good from midrange. Not to mention we have some horses who can go up strong around the bucket as well.

Well, the IHSA didn't do a very good job of scheduling, did they? I read somewhere that the refs were requesting Friday night games whenever possible, since they also do college games on Saturdays.

I was hoping that since MHS made it to the second round of playoffs that there would be a Friday night game, but I see that they are scheduled to play here in Macomb at 1 p.m. - the same time the Leathernecks are set to kick off against Lindenwood. Might make for an even more sparse crowd than usual ...
