Re: Hanson Statue Unveiling
8 feet high. Instead of finding a place where folks could rub him, maybe have a contest to see whoever can kick high enough to kick him the buttocks gets into the game free?

Re: Hanson Statue Unveiling
Don't know if I would want to "rub" him anywhere, as proposed in earlier comments. Perhaps everyone could slap him on his buttocks as they enter the stadium.

Re: Leatherneck Baseball
Again, email or call the school for an answer! I don't believe folks on a message board can answer this concern, so, call or email the SID and find out.

Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff
Understand Western will not be receiving a check next week. Schools have been told to expect delays, and the money will be distributed in installments over a period of time. So, conservative spending habits are still in effect. Good news for the schools, but as discussed, doesn't solve any of the pr...

Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff
Well then, good for her. I would assume Western would be the largest employer in her district along with its value as an educational institution, so, it sounds like she might place her district needs above partisan politics like Dale. I don't know what all her district covers, but, Western should be ...

Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff
Kudos to Dale for doing what appears to be best for his district, and not continue this farce any longer. As many of us have said before, one side is as bad as the other- leaders solve problems, even if they might need to compromise on some things they don't particularly care for. Why make others su...

Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff
So help me out. How did the Senator representing Macomb vote on the overiding of the Governor's veto? She's republican- did she do as he ordered her to do, or, did she vote to override his veto.

Re: Horizon League Replacement
I'm very familiar with the MIAA. Central and some others have looked at moving up, but have all decided it's not worth it. They know what their resources are-and to be honest, many have better facilities than WIU-, and choose to remain D2. They want their athletes to have a legitimate shot at nation...
