Sharing Topics
The "sharing" feature is nice but it seems like a bit of a waste of page space to me. I think (?) sharing applies only to the topic as a whole and not to individual replies so does it make sense to left justify the Topic label in the blue topic bar and add right justify the sharing icons o...

Re: Jamario Taylor sets new WIU High Jump Record
I am a big fan of Ted Talks and now we have Ted-Ed to help us understand how Jamario does his thing. BTW, he set a new personal best (7-02.5) in the Summit League T&F Championships in Fargo this week.

Re: Farewell, WIU
If we do not get at minimum a cameo appearance from Beau on or about Sep 6 of this year, I will be extremely disappointed. Maybe not the right thread to voice this, but one big thing that differentiates Western from most other Summit and Valley teams is this: For the major revenue sports, the others...

Re: FCS Players in the 2014 NFL Draft
Do the undrafted free agents typically sign on with a sports agency to represent them or is it not worth it?

Re: Softball Conference Tournament
After 382 pitches by NDSU hurler Krista Menke, the Bison live to fight another day. They face IPFW again tomorrow in THE Summit League championship game. Start time is 10:30 CT. Don't forget to take care of Mom either before or after tuning in to this one.

Re: Softball Conference Tournament
According to announcers on Bison All Access, if the winner of this game advances with three wins today, they would play the fourth and final game tomorrow. That makes it a bit easier. We are down 2-1 top 4 at the moment so have some work to do.

Re: Jim Tressel new Youngstown State President
The man earned 4 national championships at YSU - that is the only connection needed. Tom Osborne could be governor of Nebraska if he wanted and would not even have to run a campaign.
Correction. He tried and failed. My bad.

I hope today's commencement speaker(s) can get in a few very well-chosen words about this incident.

Re: Softball Conference Tournament
Both Western and NDSU have a severe uphill climb and must win four consecutive games today in order to take home the hardware. The loser's bracket is so brutal on the final day of any double elimination tournament and few teams have enough solid pitching to pull it off. I have also been paying atten...
