Chungong came to Western after two years playing at Independence CC. Last year he played in all 12 games, recording 2 solo tackles and 5 assisted tackles.

Oh yea....just Image days left.

#2 is Senior RB J.C. Baker from Yuma, AZ
The leading RB on the team last season, Baker was #25 on the NCAA's list of top rushers for the season with 1149 yards (the most yards in a season for a Leatherneck since Herb Donaldson in '08), and accounted for 6 TDs. Baker also caught for 183 yards (5.7 per catch). Baker transferred to Western prior to the 2013 season after playing 2 years at Arizona Western College.

Yes, he was. I'm not sure of the reason for the number change, but I saw it mentioned somewhere else, and if you look at his profile page on the athletics website, the background photos with him have him as #38. #38 this year is Freshman DB David Griffith.

JC wore number 2 in high school. Also, that number 38 looked like a fullback number. And his pads were soo bulky that the combination of the number and the pads made him look like a fullback. Plus, everyone knows that the cooler the number the faster you are

Tooooooomorrow....tomorrow....I love ya, tomorrow....

That's right folks...we are Image day away from Leatherneck Football.
Heck, we could start counting down in hours now...just under 33 hours as of me posting this.

#1 is Sophomore Wide Receiver Joey Borsellino from Oak Brook, IL
Last season Borsellino lead the team in receptions...the only freshman to do so. He and the other freshman WR (Lenoir) were the only true freshmen to start for the Leathernecks last season.
Borsellino played in all 12 games, had 41 receptions for 465 yards and 3 TDs.
