Area Big 10 team...
#12 Wisconsin falls in a defensive battle to #19 Penn State, 16-10. Halftime score was 0-0.

Also been a number of FCS over FBS upsets this weekend:
UC-Davis beat Tulsa 19-17 and Eastern Washington beat UNLV 35-33, both on Thursday.
As previously mentioned, South Dakota State ran all over Colorado State to the tune of 42-23 last night.
Today so far, Holy Cross beat UConn, 38-28 and there's a couple that are in-progress but close...Montana State leads Wyoming 7-3 at halftime, and #7 Iowa State just scored a TD to take the lead against Northern Iowa, up 10-7 in the 2nd quarter.

We do have an FCS loss to a D2 team, but McNeese State losing to West Florida isn't a major shock. They're the top team in their ranks and lots off talent. Starting QB Austin Reed originally redshirted at SIU. Starting DL Matthew Gotel was once committed to WIU.

Let's go UNI.

Montana at ranked Washington is a game to keep an eye on tonight.

Northern Iowa failed in their upset bid as well, falling to #7 Iowa State 16-10. Still, to be that close to a top-10 FBS team is pretty damn impressive.

Ratkovich with the game winning TD, we'll they went for 2 to win and that won, but you know what I'm saying.

Congrats NIU, big turnaround expected this year.

Eastern Illinois fell to FBS South Carolina 46-0. NDSU QB turned USC Grad Assistant (not playing) turned backup QB ended up playing and threw 4 TDs in the first half.
Missouri State hung with Oklahoma State, with a respectable 7-point loss, 23-16
Illinois State crushed Butler, 49-7

The Illini dropped one to the Roadrunners of UTSA, 37-30.

And in more "upset" news (in addition to the previously mentioned Grizzlies knocking off #20 Washington), we have East Tennessee State (who didn't even have a football team from 2004-2015) knocking off the SEC's Vanderbilt, 23-3.

Anyone else just realize that our next two opponents both beat their FBS teams this weekend?
