Nice comeback for the win, shot the ball terrible for most of the game.
Listened to the postgame show on the Tarleton station and their coach said their players were playing for themselves and not for the team. Also said they were more worried about making sure they got their shot up. She did complain about how many free throws WIU shot compared to them, said they were getting bumped but weren't getting fouls called.
The women head to San Antonio to take on Incarnate Word tonight at 6 PM.

Despite the loss, the evening ended as a special one for standout guard Danni Nichols. Late in the game, she reached over 1,000 career points as a Leatherneck, becoming the 20th player in program history to achieve such a feat.
Jada Thorpe and Danni Nichols led the Western scoring with 14 points. Evan Zars had 10.
Western was 4 for 28 on three-pointers.
