We signed another QB over the weekend. 6’3 210 Nate Lamb. He started his career out of high school at Fresno State. He’s transferring in from the College of the Sequoias.

L57 touched on this but I would be surprised if someone or at least a bigger school takes a chance on him, since he has a long rehab ahead of him. As many guys that are in the portal I just wonder why someone would want him when there is no guarantee if or when he will play. I do wish the best for him though, hopefully im proved wrong.

Hoping he and Morrissey are legit options and one of them comes in and wins the job outright. All about position competitions, but hoping we have our guy once camp breaks and we prepare for the season.Leatherneck57 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 18, 2023 7:03 pm We signed another QB over the weekend. 6’3 210 Nate Lamb. If I recall correctly, the last dude we had from the Sequoias was a beast, so maybe Lamb will keep that going. WR Lito Senatus was that dude.

A healthy Brantley is a next level talent and in my opinion might be one of the most talented we've had. For his sake, I hope he gets 100% and lands with an FBS school that has a solid QB. Better yet, I hope he's healthy, ends up staying and seeing what he can do with one of our new Qb's. No hate for the Qb's last year as they gave it their all, but an upgrade at QB and a little better line play and he could do some major damage for us.
That said, improved QB and OL line play will lead to the next man up doing damage. Not sure who's coming back in the WR room, but we had some young talent and size on the roster last year and they could all become studs.

I see Ty hitting the weights with the boys, so looks like he might be coming back. Leader at center with a likely new Qb would be ideal.GV wrote:Thu Jan 01, 1970 4:35 amTy walked for SR day, and at this time doesn't plan to take his 5th yr. Choosing instead to focus on his Graduate studies in Chemistry.letsgonecks wrote: ↑Tue Dec 06, 2022 4:47 pmObviously a lot can still change, but should have Ty back at center, Dimitrios who started a few games at guard, Rutledge who started at guard, Kenneth who started guard and might have played some tackle as well. Shawn Lee who backed up in 4 games along with last year transfers Reeter and Lavesa back.
Now these guys didn't necessarily dominate, but valuable game experience and a year to get better.
Hoping to get some FBS transfers to help on both lines and maybe Muetterties back in the Purple and Gold.
