Leatherneck All American Don Greco turned Author.

Don Greco was one of the best O-lineman to play at WIU.  From St. Louis he started at guard from the time he stepped on campus to the time he was drafted in the 3rd round by the Detroit Lions.

He was one of the strongest individuals I ever played with. When Don reported to Lions training camp he broke all of their weight lifting records and started his rookie year.

Being in the league for 5 years Don was forced to retire from football due to a neck injury.  He went back to St. Louis and became a very successful high school head coach.  Please read “About The Author” for information on Don’s storied career.

Here is a verry interesting and recent interview with Don. I had a couple of classes with him IIRC.  I think he started in the teacher ed route as did I.
Educational Psychology or something like that with Professor ?.  Now I am not going to be able to sleep tonight until I remember her name.  I think her last name started with a K and had ultra strong views on the importance of amniocentesis.  I think the other one was a phys ed class with David Beaver.
