I just saw that WIU will be hosting a super sectional game in 1a for the 1st time since late 2000s

Yes, Western will host an IHSA Class 1A Boys Basketball Super-Sectional at Western Hall on March 9. 

Winners from the (Monmouth) United and Orion Sectionals will be playing.
