I thought maybe it was a bit early to see "defectors" since the portal has moved to January. Hoping against hope we can keep several of this year's players (that they take note that the grass isn't always greener at the other end of the portal), and we can work the newbies into the system and just keep getting stronger. I think the coaches did a good job of bringing along the youngsters, I just hope we can keep them.
Western Big 6 Player of the Year. Watched him vs Quincy HS and was dominant. Love the fact we're getting the best players from this region. So many kids from that conference have had success at WIU over the years.
