Coming out of the gate shooting well.  Hopefully we can maintain the fast pace til the end.

Some people say the OVC is a weaker conference than the Summit.  I am not convinced of that.  My two cents is the OVC teams tend to be quicker and more athletic.  The Summit teams may be more skilled in the finer points of the game like dribbling and shooting.

The guys still have fight in them.  Came up just short in final minute falling 86-79.

Isaiah Griffin led the Western scoring with 28 points.  Lucas Lorenzen had 20.  Ifiok Peter had 12.  Karyiek Dixon had 11.

Danny Stephens was back in the line-up.  He played 7 minutes and scored 4 points.

Western had 6 three-pointers while Little Rock had 11.

Little Rock made all 15 Free Throw attempts.  Western was 15 of 23.

Attendance at Little Rock = 1,454

Next game will be at Morehead State on Thursday (Jan 22).  Game time is  6:30 PM
