I know that it's been brought up before by some people here as an idea that other universities have done to get students to not wear as much "other school" apparel. Looks like it's only part of a big October when it comes to promotional stuff: http://goleathernecks.com/news/2015/10/1/WWWWWW.aspx (love that address btw)

Some very nice promos coming up this month. Gotta say that Tanney et. al. seems to be doing a very good job in the marketing department. They know it is more than just getting people to come thru the gate. It is about connecting with students, town folks, etc and giving them reasons to be there. That Hoops thing on the 22nd was enough to bring me in for the weekend. Combining that with the ISU game, another chance to wear the camo, and I could not pass it up.

Giving away T-shirts is nice. But how about a contest to build the best T-shirt Launcher? Bring 'em all out at the half to see which will shoot the farthest. Now that is a contest I might even enter. I wonder what kind of looks I will get with it stuffed away in my carryon baggage. ;)

Richmond has an interesting promo for this Saturday's game. It's Bark in the Park (bring your dog to the game) day. That would work for us too. Our very own "Rocky" could be the judge for best in show. Are we getting live audio and video feeds up on the video board yet?
