HAHA, dream big I suppose right. I always thought it was nice when you are able to really show off the pride of a school. I love how the Oregon Ducks have a room of hanging ducks to commemorate past players. We do not even have the first two main structures built and I am already thinking beyond... I should know better.

Tonight was pretty much the game video with some "ads" promoting WIU and sponsors. Tommy says more to come in terms of functionality, e.g., stats like you get on your phone from sidearm, once they get the wireless set up.

The video boards are a nice addition. They are directly behind each basket on the west and east walls.

Interesting note: The live video feed from WIU-TV-3 was turned off when someone was shooting a free throw.

Tough call. What do you put on the screen while shooting FTs? Hopefully there was something there that was informative/encouraging and not just a blank screen. My gut feeling is that if the end zones are jam packed with students with potential to wave signs and things while opponents are shooting, it would be beneficial to show it. Or based on the following scientific study, how about a screen background in red while we are shooting and experiment between yellow or blue for the opponents? Or vice versa.

Sometimes it would be a blank Purple screen. Other times it would be a photo of the team with the words "Leatherneck Basketball" at the top.

That ain't to bad and is smart though I do not know all the rules would be awesome if it had one of those GIF messages that says "Make some Noise" with some action going on around it every time the other team shot and would have something to hush the crowd when we shot.

This is my favorite All-time FT distraction. I call it the "one lion amongst a throng of lambs" approach:

Leave it to the Cameron Crazies to come up with it. How appropriate is it that Speedo Guy ended up as a pastor?

Ahhh, life is fun. Now off to Orlando for some AAU International Softball.

Has anyone heard of any more big new projects upcoming other than the CPA building? Just have not heard to much activity and this is one of the main times when jobs get bid out for the upcoming year.
