Updates to improvements around campus
Should be hung by now if his statement was correct he said they would be hung by end of this week. I would say if anyone is in town and has chance to check and take picture of where brakets/boards are that would be awesome. Always nice to see how things are progressing, just wish I could see the preliminary designs of the new football stadium.

I think EIU got it right for Lantz Arena when you two smaller to medium size boards to work with. Suspend from ceiling just beyond corners of court. But I would angle each to face center of court. It does not appear they did that.

I was thinking how nice it would be if it were 4 boards, one above each side of the scoreboard.WIU0812 wrote:The only place I could think of them hanging them besides walls would be off the score board if it would support that or I guess you could hang above scoreboard off rafters at an angle down towards crowd below, but the ends of the courts would not see it if they were split in to two boards.

Boy do I feel stupid! Guess my source was either wrong or I misunderstood! I guess the first look should come this week!

No big deal we have all been there, what did you think they were gonna do? It is to bad they do not move them about 25 feet closer to the floor, but they do look to be about 10 x 20 or around that size. Next game someone attends is it possible you could take a video or at least a few pictures and place on here? Not sure if you can even upload video on this site unless from youtube, but would love to see what they were able to do.

Basically thought they were going to be closer to the floor as you suggested.

East board is finished and they are moving on to the west board. They said there will be a big unveiling later today hopefully a video of them in action will be posted! O, and it definitely grew from the last part and seems to be between 15x15 and 20x 20 or roughly somewhere around there.
