May have to unscrew a couple of the closest ones to the boards if they can not directly control that string of lights.

The balcony lights and the "endzone" lights are turned off during the game. The only exception is the one light panel that illuminates the flag on the west wall.

I am pretty sure they turn the balcony lights off, not sure about the main floor lights.
Haven't been to any games this year, but in the past few years, they've shut off the lights around the edges....so, the lights above the "end" seating (like where the band is, and where the students and cheerleaders are on the other side) are almost always off during the game. Only the lights directly above the court are on during the game.

Considering how bright the panels were at the football games, I don't think it'll be a problem. They may actually have to turn down the brightness a little, since they won't be competing with sunlight or anything.

I completely agree and think these are going to be plenty big enough to really show off Western Hall. The addition of the sign at the top will also make them appear larger which is nice. Also, even with a good camera this will not look as good as it will to the naked eye. Those who go to the next game assuming they are ready to run them will be in for a treat!

From twitter, photo gallery of the video boards in Western Hall.

Hope to see them in person at the women's game tomorrow (1/21) night.

Is the Hall of Fame display content available for us non-locals or is this the teaser to get us to show up more often? Not sure what wall it is attached to but might also be a good idea to create portable kiosk(s) which can be moved to prominent locations depending on the event.

I always thought it would be awesome if they would build a long hallway type building between the two future planned buildings of the football north side facility and the proposed basketball arena that would display all of the great things that have happened over the time for WIU in its athletics. I made a quick drawing of what I mean below.
