Probably superstition related. We're 0-10 this year with write-ups, so he's changing things up. Good call Scott!!!!meganeck wrote: Fri Nov 18, 2022 8:22 am Where's Scott, with his usual; write-ups? I didn't know it is going to be on a TV, I'll probably regret it but i will have to watch
Anything is possible, but not much of a chance here. Even if we didn't lose our best player Brantley last week, we'd still be a very long shot.
I know the boys will go hard and hopefully we get a few plays to go our way and we get off the 0.
Actually I've just been sick this last week and haven't been able to put anything together, but hey...if it helps our guys win, awesome.
I'll just throw a few links here for anyone who's interested:
Illinois State is 5-5, here's their schedule this year: https://goredbirds.com/sports/football/schedule
We have a 52-49-3 record against them historically and you can see the entire history in our incredibly useful record book on page 72 here: https://s3.amazonaws.com/sidearm.sites/ ... _2022_.pdf
Stat comparison is here.
Here's what Massey predicts: https://masseyratings.com/game.php?gid=935076240
I plan on watching the first part of the game, but might have to miss the last bit due to a music recital one of my kids is performing in tomorrow afternoon.

Doth my eye deceive me? Chuck gains on the ground by an RB. Like it. Don't like the pick six but tough for those WRs to not throw when their numbers called....bad throw and 3 to 4 Redbird around the wr.WIU2DC wrote: Sat Nov 19, 2022 11:38 am Is there a new addition to the OL? We have had some pretty big holes and protection through the 1st

We dont get penalized much but when we do, always seems to be a drive stopper (or continuer if on D).
Embrace the pace of the race.
