Game Notes - Hopefully we can see Nikko Watson come back for the first time this year
- If the weather is exactly as predicted this should have a good attendance or we have major problems. Hopefully WIU has advertised this better
than last time and maybe even made some incentives to go into game.

It's PM my friend. A 130 AM concert might be a little to early for my taste :D

Drake is 1-1 coming into this game.

Drake lost the first game of the season to Grand View 45-22. Grand View University is a private, not-for-profit liberal arts college affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. It is located in Des Moines. Grand View is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), primarily competing in the Midwest Collegiate Conference (MCC), while its football competes in the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA). Grand View won the 2013 NAIA Football national championship. This was a home game for Drake. Attendance was 7,248.

Drake won their second game 13-7 over Truman State. Truman State is a member of NCAA Division II and plays in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC). This was a home game for Drake. Attendance was 3,078.

Here is to hoping for somewhere between 7,500 and 10,000 in attendance on Saturday and great weather!

From a reliable source....nikko watson is not a member of the team any longer. Apparently discipline from the school was more severe than the 1 game suspension.

Seems a little harsh for a first time offense, though I do not know all of the details on the subject and do not know what would be a proper punishment. Hopefully this is not true, but I trust that your source is reliable and it seems that this would be a explanation for why we did not see or hear about him this weekend.
