It’s looking like more and more that morehead state just ran into a buzzsaw in Illinois. Talk about a tough draw.  They are definitely playing their best ball right now.

NCAA Division 2 Championship Game:  2:00 PM Saturday (March 30) on CBS at the Ford Center in Evansville.

#1 Minnesota State (Mankato, Minnesota) vs #2 Nova Southeastern (Fort Lauderdale, Florida).

The head coach of Minnesota State is Macomb native, Matt Margenthaler.   His father - Jack Margenthaler - was the Basketball coach at Western 1977-1992.

Congrats to Matt.  Matt's 6th grade class was an "Observation" class for my Educational
Psychology course with Dr. Kaspar back in 1979 or so.  We clocked a few hours in there with them.  We had to write a detailed paper on selected students in that class.  Had to go to their school music programs and even spend an evening getting to know their parents at their house.  My group did not get Matt to focus on but I would bet some other group did.
