New Post season Tournament

I saw on 365 sports that Fox sports/FS1 will be starting a 16 team post season tournament for the 2024-25 season called The College Basketball Crown played in Las Vegas. There will be 6 automatic bids, 2 teams from the Big East, 2 teams from the Big 12 and 2 teams from the Big 10 then there will be 10 at large births. It sounded like the CBC plans to be competition to the NIT.
