I am going to be optimistic on this one and go out there to predict a 24-21 win for WIU. This will be the game that decides how the season is going to go in my opinion. If we compete here and win we compete every game here on out and win more than originally anticipated. If we get rolled this will be the start of a long string of MVFC games. Final prediction is Norvell airs it out for another 200 plus and baker rushes for over 100 yards. If we play mistake free football we win if we play like at Northwestern and have these mistakes come about it will be a long day. Should be a nice day if weather holds up as I heard partly sunny and 80 as the forecast.

It is their Family Weekend so that will make it even tougher for us. Our first drive against Northwestern was a thing of beauty from the play calling and execution standpoint. We will need more than one like that against the Salukis.

Last year SIU averaged 8,554 fan attendance at their home games. I expect that this will be one of their bigger ones for the year so expect around 12,000 plus to be there.

I woke up to good news today. I think my College Sports Live subscription (which I completely forgot I had) will let me see this game. Also see that it could come in handy against South Dakota and Denver. Includes B1G's Illinois, Iowa, and about 100 other schools. This is a college sports junky's best friend.

So I bought 8 tickets for this game and now we are not going to be able to go. I have listed these on stub hub, but was hoping perhaps someone on here would want to go there and buy them. They are listed at 19.80 which includes the convenience charge. I paid 20 bucks plus tax for them and I believe they were 2nd row from field on the Visitor's side. These will definitely be the best seats you can get. I made it so you do not have to buy all 8 on there and download immeditately, but can not just leave one seat. If anyone is going please help me out and purchase on here. Link is below. Thanks!

WIU 27 - SIU 21

Can't have botched snaps and dropped passes if we're going to win this one and that goes for the rest of the games. Facing a team thats similar to us, so whomever makes fewer mistakes comes out ontop. I agree this is a must win to get some much needed momentum in conference play. Need to find a way to force turnovers and finish drives. Don't know what happens once they cross the 50, but seem to stall.
