WIU football has been on Sportscenter this AM and McGill got a “helmet sticker” on ESPN college football final show.

Defense was dominant in 2nd half and the game winning 10 play 99 yard drive was one for the ages.

Hope this team has some magic for a November run.

Condolences to Coach Davis.

Some other interesting stats for our team so far:

We are #3 in the FCS, #2 in the conference in Defensive TDs with 2. The #1 team in the FCS in this category is actually the team we just beat, UT Martin, who has 4 this season.
#15 in the FCS in passing yards allowed with 175.3 yards per game ...

I don't know where that Mackenzie kid came from but he was everywhere on defense

I thought the same thing. BJ and Doc mentioned something about a court ruling with him. How did we get this guy? 1st team All OVC a year ago at CSU. https://csusports.com/sports/football/roster/malik-mckinzie/5996 ...

First homecoming win since 2016. Domination by the Necks. Davis has program going in right direction.

I miss the PACE for the beer garden, the RITZ for happy hour and fish bowls and PARKSIDE for karaoke, BOOTLEGGERS for the martinis, the CAFÉ and DOWNSTAIRS for the Quaaludes and the DOG POUND for finals week.  Also very nostalgic for the Wheeler St Block Party.  Neck Up!
