Ok, well that tempers my expectations at least. Times are tough money is tight.

The current field certainly is usable. It wont look or feel like a new field. However, our 'Necks get to practice and play on it regularly so it will be the norm. I guess it affects visiting teams more adversely ...

The new caterpillar CEO is a WIU graduate. 

Might be a good time to reach out to CAT see if some kind of partnership can be developed.  The construction industry isn’t going anywhere and they are a global powerhouse. 

 

Did Tyler Herro’s brother ever make it to WIU or was he a recruit this year or next?

Ah, another crap situation thanks to the portal. Mid majors are just glorified AAU programs. 

Perhaps an online only statistic would have been better. 

Thankfully it sounds like there is more than 2200 on campus. 

The current on-campus headcount enrollment at Western is 2,262 in Macomb and 271 in the Quad Cities. Total = 2,533.

The spring semester enrollment number of 5,107 includes students who take some on-line courses as well as in-person courses.

Just saw that Danny Stephens, who I believe was a walk on at Mizzou, has entered the transfer portal. Maybe he would like to get closer to home.

Those are some pretty tough attendance numbers. 

More money isn’t the answer.
