If anyone is interested, I set up a private group for Leatherneck Nation for just a friendly bracket competition...no money involved.
If you want to participate, you can join here: http://dynamic.bracketchallenge.ncaa.co ... ction=join
The password is: Hanson
The brackets lock on Thursday (3/17) at 11 AM Central (first game starts at 11:15 AM).

I saw it. Just as dramatic as the shot by the Rockridge player Carson Frakes in last week's 2A IHSA Semi-final.ST_Lawson wrote:Sooooo....anyone else see the end of that UNI/Texas game?
And former Western Asst Coach Brad Underwood and his #14 Stephen F Austin team shocked #3 West Virginia 70-56.
The only FCS Football-playing school to make it past the second round will be playing in the Final Four...Villanova.
If you happen to be watching any of 'Nova's games in the tournament and they show their pep band, look for a trombone player with glasses who's got very short hair (she did St. Baldricks a couple weeks ago). She's a Marching Leatherneck alumni (played Trombone and was Drum Major for a year) who is now a grad student at Villanova.
She definitely won the "award" for furthest distance traveled to come "home" for the Homecoming Alumni Band and the Alumni Pep Band this last year, having flown back to Illinois from Pennsylvania for both.
