We appear to be unique with a "Western Illinois Socialize" application. I love to see us out their on the "cutting edge" like that. I wonder how they plan on announcing/rolling out that app. I could see having live looks at the Socialize real-time feed on the new video board every now and then during the game. Also be kinda nice if their was some link to this site on that site. I have to say we are trending way way up with that move to SideArm. Not only that, I think we have the best fan board in MVFC and Summit now and I have seen more than my fair share of fan boards around the country in the last week. ST, kudos to you for your extra effort.
I have to agree that this board especially with the additional pages that go beyond a standard forum talk is a great improvement! Now it just needs to be recognized some more. ST, did you ever find any more out about taking over the leathernecknation.com domain from the other creator and then this will be linked to both domains? I know at one time there was mention of perhaps having a live game chat feature on here to, though that may be something to toy with throughout the season and use this season as a test run for such a feature.
If we can get everything seamless integrated and linked together, more people will know about this site. Same strategy applies to the "50-50" tickets. People should not even have to think "Where is it" or "Where are they?". This is all easier said than done, of course.
I wanted to go to the home opener but unfortunately work got in the way but that's no big deal. I'll be watching on ESPN 3 myself from Southern Illinois on Thursday.
Guess I will watch on the new streaming feature through goleathernecks.com if it is not on ESPN3, but that saying usually applies to non reliable sources such as those other than the largest sports broadcasting network though I am sure even they make mistakes. I just figured you had talked to someone on the athletic department who had let you know this.
