Two great teams with essentially no "history" in which to have any hard feelings about. In addition the previously mentioned ISU (loooong history), USD (stole our coach...ended up being a good thing, but stil...), I also still harbor quite a bit of resentment towards Western Kentucky. If Illinois State is playing someone out of conference, I'll root for Illinois State, but WKU...I'll ALWAYS root against...doesn't matter who they're playing. Those of you who have been around for a while know why.
Let's have a great exciting game, hopefully a Leatherneck victory, no injuries (to either side, of course), and head into the rest of the season a bit more "battle-tested" and ready to take on more of the top teams in the FCS.

Getting ready to head over super excited.
Looks like a pretty good crowd at tailgating. If most of them make it into the stadium it'll be a decent crowd today.

Yeah, but we started that big melee even though they brought the instrument of destruction.ST_Lawson wrote:KU...I'll ALWAYS root against...doesn't matter who they're playing. Those of you who have been around for a while know why.
Getting ready to record video for the band. This is a view that is entirely new to me.

An OK half like to see the penalties cleaned up a good crowd on hand.
NAU guys, please offer my condolences to the family of #3. Dude got hit by a bus on that last return.
Seriously though, I'm glad he's ok. He walked off after a minute and is walking around on the sideline.

Just...wow. Nice job by WIU today. Over 530 yards total offense, 200 on the ground. We got hit by a train. Like I stated this week, I was worried about our secondary and it showed today. GREAT job on Butler and Marks, held them under 100 yards receiving. We were stale in the 2nd and 3rd and couldn't wake up in time, but a lot of that is credited to your team. That's a great football team you have and you have a fan in me the rest of the way. We have a cupcake D2 team next week then Eastern Washington comes in in two weeks. I hope we can figure it out by then. All the best again to everyone here and hopefully we will see most of you in Flagstaff next year.
