Minus three drives the defense played really well IMO. After that fist quick drive I thought we were in for a loooong evening. Great adjustments and fantastic offense performance on the ground and through the air. Lenoir and Mashane could be deadly! NAU is supremely talented. Big win!

Anyone hear what attendance numbers were?

Haven't heard numbers, but we sat on the hill 'cause the stands were so full.

It was a great game to be at. We got there late, so it was on the car radio on the way to the stadium. When we were down early, I got concerned, but the guys came back and adjusted and it was super!

Let's give credit to the defense for stepping up and shutting down that NAU offense especially after two drives that lead to touchdowns. Offensive line came up big today to get keep McGuire clean and made holes for the running game. This was a much better game than last week against EIU.

Plus that was a beautiful tackle from the former WR on that kickoff return.

Not a big fan of the early bye week next week, but better to be over prepare for NIU and the start of conference play.

Was also very impressed with McGuire today. He was great in the pocket and seemed to handle the pressure really well stepping up and making throws.

Lenoir is just a beast and should get a look at the next level.

Mcshane looks to be a true lead back that has all the tools a RB should have. Man he burned NAU on that long run. Dude is fast. He had no business beating the angles their guys took on him down the field. He seems to have above average vision and can make a nice cut down field.

Looks as though we have beat a couple of good talented teams this year. Eastern Illinois beat Miami of Ohio today 21-17 after trailing 17-7. Say what you want but we really didn't have to show much against EIU which helped us today. I was on the sidelines and Coach Fisher is getting exactly what he said he wanted...a blue collar physical football team!

BTW...Diggs suffered a concussion at the Eastern game and will be back for the NIU game.
