5 minutes until kickoff and I'm bouncing in my seat.

Does anybody know how the ESPN 3 commentary works? Are the commentators employees of ESPN or the individual schools?
I'm just curious since the same guys always call our games, and this crew tonight is clearly in the tank for SDSU. The color guy sounds like a season ticket holder.

Depends on the game. Sometimes it's just the local guys, sometimes it's ESPN sending guys.W1U wrote:Does anybody know how the ESPN 3 commentary works? Are the commentators employees of ESPN or the individual schools?

This is the Valley Game of the Week, so I'd think it'd be the ESPN guys, but idk for sure.

Passing game is torching the defense, and the offense has stalled trying to go pass for pass. Not a good way to start conference. Saw more desperation play calls instead of aggressive ones. Can't abandon the running game if this is the offense you want to run. Now everyone in the conference knows to be WIU throw it up.
Painful to watch, but at least we do not have to live in a place as miserable as South Dakota. You can build as nice of a stadium as you want, but it does not eliminate the fact you have to live in one of the 2 most miserable places in the country. North Dakota being the worst.
Unfortunately, yup, this is the way it is. The Dakotas, UNI, MSU...they've got money. We do not (and outside of donations and stuff, neither does ISUr and SIU).wiu712 wrote:The Dakotas are funding their state universities. We cannot say that in Illinois.
