Welcome and you are right I believe that they will play EIU at some point and time, but not exactly sure when that date is.

Thanks everyone! Ill try and keep my eye out and see what other games I can find. I imagine we'll probably play at least one more non division one team maybe even two. We should also have one exhibition as well. Hopefully the schedule comes out soon. I'm getting anxcious.

I see the 'Yotes have the Runnin' Rebs coming to their place in December. Well, not exactly their place, but close to their place (Sioux Falls Sanford Pentagon). It is 62.7 miles from Vermillion to Sioux Falls, not significantly less than the 78.3 miles from Macomb to Moline. We need to give that a shot once or twice each season, preferably in a men's and women's doubleheader format.

Still no word on the basketball schedule. I haven't found anymore teams that play us yet. Hopefully it'll get released soon.

Added Bill & Mary. I will be there for that one and then on to Orlando for Old Spice starting Thanksgiving Thursday. That will be a good week of hoops.

So EIU just released their basketball schedule today and there is no WIU on it.......I am very disappointed. I really liked our basketball rivalry. What do you yall think?

It ain't the rivalry it used to be when we were both in the same conference (Mid-Continent), believe me. EIU game would put 7k in Western Hall back in late 70s and early 80s and hardly even qualifies as a rivalry game these days.

Not sure who our rival is now. Might go with the Jacks from our perspective only, not theirs. If we were D2, Quincy would be a good candidate.
