I hope they appropriated some extra money to improve their video and audio streams. Neither one is working for me right now.

Embrace the pace of the race.
To be fair, it does say "Note: If you are experiencing difficulty with the video, it may be due to an unusually high number of viewers." and I know that CapitolFax is experiencing record traffic right now.sealhall74 wrote: Thu Jul 06, 2017 2:25 pm I hope they appropriated some extra money to improve their video and audio streams. Material has been tested and is not hazardous (haven't said what it is, just that it isn't going to hurt anyone).
They've been given the all clear to go back to work, which, considering how these guys do business, means we might see something get done by November.

They've already been there longer today than the last 6 months combined.ST_Lawson wrote: Thu Jul 06, 2017 3:34 pm Material has been tested and is not hazardous (haven't said what it is, just that it isn't going to hurt anyone).

And it passes. Hammond voted yes to overriding the governor's veto, just fyi.
So...I think...that means we now have a budget....finally.

Is there a chance we can put this subject to rest finally!!! I saw a number of job openings on Twitter for WIU a few minutes ago. It appears that WIU is now hiring!

From President Thomas, "Western's allocation is $20.1 million in additional appropriation for FY2017 and $46.3 million for FY2018. This bill also provides full reimbursement for MAP grants for WIU (approximately $21 million for fiscal years 2017 and 2018)." Where did the money we used in FY17 come from if not the state? What have be borrowed against or taken from. Certainly we need to repay those funds, but we do NOT need to take this as a largesse and waste the recouped ~$30 million. We need to plan on ongoing reductions in state support. http://www.wiu.edu/news/newsrelease.php ... e_id=14681

I totally agree with you and I think the administration is ready to do that! Bierman is pretty sharp in my opinion!
