Thanks for the update...can't blame a kid for an opportunity to play at a Big 12 school...especially one fairly close to home.
With early signing period coming up (and me busy with holiday stuff) I imagine that commitments will be coming in kinda fast and furious. I'll try to keep up on things, but I can only go through and recheck everyone's twitter accounts so often. Any updates that anyone notices would be greatly appreciated. I've also taken my spreadsheet/list and filtered it just to players who have verbally committed to Western or have not (as of my last check) committed anywhere yet...thought it'd make it easier to view the kids we still have a good chance with.

The kids are starting to recruit KC. Hopefully we can flip a couple to Western!
I love it...lots of good talent in that area, seems to sometimes get "overlooked" by some of the "big boys" in college football...plus it's within a day's drive of Macomb (especially now that US 36 is 4-lane all the way across Missouri), so it's not too hard for family to get here for games.

Agreed, the drive isn't bad at all. And there has been a couple years in a row now with big time talent in the KC area. Which has really increased the traffic with college coaches. I know the Northern schools in the Valley have a good presence here for a few years. N Iowa and the Dakotas.
Wasn't sure how to put this one down in the spreadsheet, so I put his HS info in, but in the notes mentioned that he's a grad transfer from Coastal Carolina. A tight end and long snapper.
