Matt had to give up Football as advised by his doctor. Has to have career ending shoulder surgery. It’s too bad...Good player but better kid!

Leon Thornton DB 6-1 200 Jr. Lombard, Ill. Montini Catholic

Leon was a transfer from Indiana, but I don't know if he ended up playing any this season.

Looks like he did confirm on Twitter that he is transferring from WIU

Myron Cunningham is no longer on the team. He’s at a JUCO in Iowa. The term STUDENT athlete didn’t work out so well for him.

That's a big loss but hopefully he can get his academics straightened out.

Did you ever scratch your head wondering why Iowa has 3 junior colleges that field a football team and a state like Illinois with four times as many people has just one (College of DuPage)? Illinois is way too top-heavy at the Divison I level right now. I see it across the board at WIU and a few of its neighbors - at best division II athletes recruited to play at the top level.
