So the all conference team was announced and Steve McShane was on the 1st team you don't see many athletes make the list for 2 sports these days.

Good luck to the boys today. Lets hope Koch and Dunne pitch like they can and we're moving on to the championship in 2.

Think they'll go Dunne today or Drake? Not to assume, but they're probably feeling confident in getting the W today and then facing ORU tomorrow, so keeping Koch for that game. So in the master plan of going 2-0 to start, do you want Dunne or Drake in the Championship game?

Well, they only gave up 2 runs, but NDSU pitched an absolute gem giving up only 1 hit the entire game. Complete game, 1-hit shutout for NDSU's Blake Stockert.
WIU falls 2-0 and will play in the loser's bracket against the loser of Oral Roberts and South Dakota State at noon tomorrow (Thursday).

NDSU played great D. Their 3rd baseman took away 2 hits, 1 he dove to his left and threw a bullet from his knees just in time!!!!
Right fielder made a great diving catch in the gap to take a triple and possibly inside the parker from McShane.
Thompson came up 2 feet short on a HR and Drue got thrown out early trying to score from third with the infield in.
They just had a little more luck today.
