We need a new university-wide policy. All "interims" are replaced with the real thing within 120 days. The interim tags imply that someone is either dragging their feet getting things done or you don't have enough money to pay your hired help.
After further review, I think 90 days is even better.

Gee, you think 6+years for Kathy Neumann, the still Interim Provost and Academic Vice President. Thomas makes his bud Ron Williams, VPSS soon after being named Interim, but also, Kathy lingers, perhaps because she has different opinions.
