Sad news from the Elkerton family

Todd Elkerton (Tmelker on this message board), father of Freshman O-Lineman Elijah Elkerton, posted this morning on twitter that his wife (Elijah's mother) Diane passed away last night. Some of you may remember from the "Introduce Yourself" thread we had a while back that she had been fighting stage IV cancer.

Keep the Elkerton family in your thoughts as they go through this difficult time.

My heart hurts when I hear of someone fighting a brave fight against the odds. My wife's Brother died last year of Malignant Melanoma he was a proud man, Cancer is cruel. Taking his life wasn't good enough it had to take his dignity too. *sigh* :cry:
