Another Illinois college will be closing: Robert Morris University in Springfield.
They play NAIA athletics.
In March 2018, the school announced it was eliminating men’s basketball, men’s soccer, and volleyball at its Springfield campus. It continued to field teams in baseball, softball, and women’s basketball.
Those student athletes will have reserved spots on RMU teams in Chicago and Peoria.
