The FCS playoff field will be announced shortly (I'll post an update after it has).
Teams from the MVFC that will be in the playoffs...NDSU, Illinois State, SDSU, UNI. Also, there's a good chance that, even with us beating them yesterday, Indiana State could still get one of the last spots.

So, the MVFC gets rewarded this year, with 5 teams in the playoffs...2 with first-round byes.
Scattered among 3 of the 4 quadrants of the bracket.
If the MVFC teams to well, we could have a UNI at ISUr rematch and a SDSU at NDSU rematch in the second round though.

Indiana State got down early, 16-0 in the second quarter, but then rallied back to rifle off 36 unanswered points (including 24 in the 3rd quarter) to win 36-16.
South Dakota State at Montana State is now underway with the Jackrabbits holding a 14-6 lead halfway through the first quarter. Both SDSU scores have come courtesy of Zach Zenner. First one was a 45 yard ZZ run, second was a pass that ZZ took for 69 yards. BTW, Montana State's field looks a lot like SDSU's field did when we played in Brookings. Large blocks of snow separated by the plowed yard lines. So far it's looking like SDSU really has a handle on the weather situation, while MSU is struggling (just like it was in our game against them).

So far....
Indiana State defeated Eastern Kentucky, 36-16
South Dakota State took down Montana State in a pretty heavy snowfall, 47-40 (Zenner had 252 yards and 4 TDs rushing as well as 72 yards and another TD receiving...5 TDs is his career record).
On the first play from the line of scrimmage, UNI's David Johnson took a handoff 73 yards for a TD. Since then, UNI has put up two field goals, one after an interception. UNI currently leads SFA 13-0 ~6 minutes into the game.
