Plus the fact that we occasionally play in the Chicago area, means that families around there can attend those games as well...Chicago State, UIC, Loyola...all teams that we'll periodically play. Sounds like we're playing NIU this year, so that's also a pretty close game for Chicago-area people.sealhall74 wrote: Wed Jul 18, 2018 2:54 pmI think a really smart coach is always going to adjust his recruiting areas to be in closer proximity to his location. Chicago to Macomb vs Indy to Macomb not much different when you drive it, but the Amtrak Chicago option makes a difference, if for no other reason than a kid's family has a better chance to come to the game.

Glad he de-committed, might have been enough of a difference maker to squeak out a bunch of wins and Billy's still here. Would have left anyways after dominating the Summit and we'd be right back where we were. Was following him this year and it kept making me wish he ended up here, but much happier with the potential change we have with Jeter. Fingers and toes crossed!!!!leatherneckcountry wrote: Mon Apr 06, 2020 1:41 pmYeah his uncle is Minnesota Associate coach and his cousin is on the team.

maybe not the right thread, but has anyone been able to see our 7 footer (Alex Brantley) in scrimmages or practices and care to update us on how much progress he has made? Was he solid in the weight room, etc.
