My guess would be the Portal.  There are a lot of JUCO and HS kids that would normally be getting MAC, Mountain West, Conf USA offers that are still available; as those teams are fighting over former Power 5 guys that are still in the portal.  We are in a great place right now recruiting wise, but I wish we could have starter this 2 weeks earlier.  We are still going to wind up with a great recruiting class. Peewee and Yasir are both players that likely would not have been available in a "normal" recruiting cycle.  The next 5-10 days are going to be fun!

Thanks, That is what I was thinking, I wonder if he will dip into the transfer portal. Haven't seen anything yet, seems most offers have been either HS or JUCO guys.

As the Dad of an Upperclassmen, I would like to see a Transfer or JUCO WR or 2.  That is definitely an area of need.  But the HS ranks are so fertile, it will really pay dividends down the road; like the 24 season.  Great for building the program back.

Had the same thought yesterday about WR's needing to be a big transfer focus.  We have Daniels back, but very open after that and if we're looking at running some 4 wide there are plenty of holes.  Skinner made the 2 deep a few times, but didn't play.  Heller could be a replacement for Tate, but he only got SP reps last year.

Lewis could be the next man up and not sure on other rostered WR's like Eddington and Wilson.

If Hall is back and healthy (was he injured all year) he could move to WR.  Same with Reed and potentially Maronic.  Not counting Tabone out at QB next year and have no scouting info on the dude, but remember reading he has some speed to go with his 6-2 size, so another potential WR conversion.

Getting this kid could help that quite a bit:

3-star WR from St. Louis who has 4 years of eligibility (redshirted 2021 with Louisville)

If the hoops game is a go on Saturday, I will be doing some pigskin people watching.
Embrace the pace of the race.
