A welcomed turnaround from the past several years, for sure!!
They also beat Southern University 3-1 yesterday evening, but then dropped their series against New Orleans 3-1 today.
Still improved over last year where they had 1 non-conference win.
Next up is a pair of matches at the Green Bay Invite next Saturday, against Drake and Green Bay.

Just last night and Saturday's matches. Western Hall is currently set up for today's "events".leatherneckcountry wrote: Fri Sep 23, 2022 3:40 am Anyone know why the volleyball team is playing there home games at Macomb High
Actually worked out pretty well in general. Talked to Paul Bubb and he said the HS gym actually works better for this than Brophy does, just because of how it's set up.

The Summit is a juggernaut conference to be in. Competing against either flagship schools from the Dakotas or privates from elsewhere, all with better facilities. The OVC keeps looking better and better from my vantage point.
Embrace the pace of the race.

Since 2015, WIU is 35-187 and 16-111 in Summit Play
KInda disappointed in volleyball, I thought maybe they would have a decent season after their 4 wins early in non-conference, but they haven't won since then and they can't even beat St. Thomas. Hopefully he can bring in his recruits and get things turned around.4EverPurple&Gold wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 8:55 am Since 2015, WIU is 35-187 and 16-111 in Summit Play
